A covered market stall space: a volunteer-led effort in Istanbul
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $1,100 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $210, and the remaining cost is $1,100.
It will serve about 125 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $110
• Tools hire and delivery: $135
