A covered market stall space: a volunteer-led effort in Dundee
A community-led a covered market stall space at Liberty Primary School that will serve 433 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,200.
It will serve about 433 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Materials: $1,650
• Safety equipment and signage: $370
• Tools hire and delivery: $180
Thanks for reading all this.
