For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,250. It will serve about 228 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly.       Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. materials comes first ($2,500) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
