A community garden for the Pioneer vacant lot: help our neighbors in Wiesbaden
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $1,450 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,450.
It will serve about 490 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Tools hire and delivery: $260
