A community garden for the Maple community hall: help our neighbors in Thủ Đức
A community-led a community garden at the Maple community hall that will serve 475 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 475 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Materials: $360
• Permits and inspections: $35
