A community garden for the Baobab health centre yard: help our neighbors in London
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $1,950 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,950.
It will serve about 421 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Tools hire and delivery: $150
• Materials: $1,600
• Permits and inspections: $200
