A community garden for the Acacia community hall: help our neighbors in Khulna
A community-led a community garden at the Acacia community hall that will serve 444 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 444 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $15
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Materials: $400
