A community garden for Baobab Primary School: help our neighbors in Augsburg
A community-led a community garden at Baobab Primary School that will serve 412 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $1,100, and the remaining cost is $1,550.
It will serve about 412 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Materials: $920
• Permits and inspections: $240
• Safety equipment and signage: $180
• Tools hire and delivery: $210
