A community garden for Baobab Park: help our neighbors in Hồ Chí Minh City
A community-led a community garden at Baobab Park that will serve 461 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $65, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 461 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $280
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $55

Sure. The biggest one is materials, $280. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks, that means a lot.
