A community garden: a volunteer-led effort in Epe
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $400 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 190 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Materials: $300
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
