A community fridge for Unity Primary School: help our neighbors in Lahore
Volunteers in Lahore are raising $450 for a community fridge at Unity Primary School.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 207 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Materials: $355
