A community fridge for Union Primary School: help our neighbors in Grenoble
Volunteers in Grenoble are raising $1,600 for a community fridge at Union Primary School.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,600.
It will serve about 437 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $290
• Safety equipment and signage: $320
• Materials: $990
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
