A community fridge for the Maple community hall: help our neighbors in Latina
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $750 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $750.
It will serve about 576 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $750 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $310
• Permits and inspections: $105
• Safety equipment and signage: $335
