A community fridge for the Freedom community hall: help our neighbors in Hồ Chí Minh City
A community-led a community fridge at the Freedom community hall that will serve 91 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $220, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 91 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $420
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
