A community fridge for the Cedar community hall: help our neighbors in Phuket
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $1,050 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,050.
It will serve about 221 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Materials: $940
