A community fridge for the Acacia health centre yard: help our neighbors in Rohini
A community-led a community fridge at the Acacia health centre yard that will serve 509 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $455.
It will serve about 509 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $455 goes:
• Materials: $370
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $5
