A community fridge for Harmony Park: help our neighbors in Dundee
Volunteers in Dundee are raising $2,500 for a community fridge at Harmony Park.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,500.
It will serve about 222 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Materials: $2,000
• Permits and inspections: $100
• Safety equipment and signage: $240
• Tools hire and delivery: $160
