A community fridge for Baobab Park: help our neighbors in Kikuyu
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $300 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 122 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $180
• Tools hire and delivery: $70
• Permits and inspections: $50
