A community fridge for Acacia Park: help our neighbors in Rohini
A community-led a community fridge at Acacia Park that will serve 344 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $130, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 344 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Materials: $430
• Permits and inspections: $50
