A community fridge: a volunteer-led effort in Warsaw
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $1,050 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $530, and the remaining cost is $1,050.
It will serve about 433 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Materials: $800
• Permits and inspections: $75
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $110
