We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $105 for materials.

Vadodara
For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar community hall, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $105. It will serve about 204 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $105 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $35 • Safety equipment and signage: $65 • Permits and inspections: $5 Glad we found this place.
