A communication tablet with eye tracking for Samuel: help Samuel move freely
Help Samuel get a communication tablet with eye tracking so He can get to the shops and visit friends.
🇬🇭 Ghana1,457 views
Samuel lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Tamale Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Samuel could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $1,250
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $55
Thanks for being kind about this.
