Jayanthi lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the New Delhi Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $900. Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Jayanthi could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
