A communication tablet with eye tracking for Hamisi: help Hamisi move freely
A communication tablet with eye tracking would give Hamisi independence - we're $550 away.

Hamisi lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Nakuru Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $550.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Hamisi could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $40
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $470
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
With deep gratitude,
Naliaka
