A communication tablet with eye tracking for Dmitry: help Dmitry move freely
Dmitry needs a communication tablet with eye tracking that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,650.

Dmitry lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Odesa General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,650.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Dmitry could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $1,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $85
Thanks for being kind about this.

Stay strong, Kateryna. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Sent it to 40 people at work. All the best.
