A communication tablet with eye tracking for Diego: help Diego move freely
A communication tablet with eye tracking would give Diego independence - we're $1,200 away.

Diego lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Campinas Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,200.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Diego could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $1,050
• Fitting and training sessions: $100
• First-year servicing plan: $50
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
