Bruno lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Guadalajara Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,900.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Bruno could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
