I'm Sara, 19, in my final year of high school. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study journalism.
I have a 3.7 average, I volunteer at the local library and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until July. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Awka.
Keep going, Sara. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Please keep us posted. Greetings from Caloocan.
