I'm Isaiah, 19, in Grade 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study psychology. I have a 3.7 average, I volunteer at my church youth group and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work. I'm looking for an hour a week until October. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request. Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Hang in there, Isaiah. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together

    • Good luck, Isaiah. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

Stay strong, Isaiah. Study hard! Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings
