Yeshi needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade that the health system won't fund; the cost is $850.

Yeshi lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Jimma Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $850.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Yeshi could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $40
