Julian lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the London Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,900. His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Julian could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
