In-ho lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Seoul Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500. His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment In-ho could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $500 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $210 • Fitting and training sessions: $140 • Delivery and set-up: $150 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Updates from Jun-seo

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($237 in total) the plan for first-year servicing plan is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
