A cochlear implant processor upgrade for Enrique: help Enrique move freely
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Enrique independence - we're $3,000 away.

Enrique lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Tallahassee General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,000.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Enrique could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $2,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $270
• Delivery and set-up: $210
• First-year servicing plan: $370

Hope it all works out, Verónica. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to San Antonio so I could bring a meal. God bless.
thinking of you, Verónica. I hope things turn around soon. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Wish I lived closer to Erie so I could bring a meal. God bless
