A cochlear implant processor upgrade for Eliana: help Eliana move freely
Help Eliana get a cochlear implant processor upgrade so She can attend work interviews.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom1,853 views
Eliana lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at London General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,350.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Eliana could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $3,100
• Delivery and set-up: $105
• First-year servicing plan: $145
Thanks for being kind about this.
