A cochlear implant processor upgrade for Aisha: help me move freely
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Aisha independence - we are $1,300 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Kasarani Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,300.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $1,250
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• First-year servicing plan: $20
Every share and every dollar helps.
