A braille note-taker for Yasemin: help Yasemin move freely

A braille note-taker would give Yasemin independence - we're $600 away.

Bursa
Yasemin lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Bursa Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $600. Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks. With the right equipment Yasemin could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $600 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $65 • braille note-taker: $510 • First-year servicing plan: $25 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Leyla
