A braille note-taker for Teresa: help Teresa move freely
Help Teresa get a braille note-taker so She can get to the shops and visit friends.
🇮🇹 Italy648 views
Teresa lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at Palermo General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,250.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Teresa could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $220
• braille note-taker: $1,950
• Delivery and set-up: $80
Thank you so much.

I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.
