A braille note-taker for Samuel: help me move freely
A braille note-taker would give Samuel independence - we're $1,250 away.

I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the São Paulo Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around him. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• braille note-taker: $1,050
• Fitting and training sessions: $100
• Delivery and set-up: $45
• First-year servicing plan: $55
Thanks for reading all this.
