Rodrigo lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Alcalá de Henares General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,950.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Rodrigo could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $170
• Delivery and set-up: $150
