A braille note-taker for Rabia: help Rabia move freely
Rabia needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,250.

Rabia lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Lahore Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Rabia could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
