Brandon lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Manchester Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,300. His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks. With the right equipment Brandon could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $4,300 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $250 • braille note-taker: $3,950 • Delivery and set-up: $100 Thanks for being kind about this.
