A braille note-taker for Andile: help Andile move freely
A braille note-taker would give Andile independence - we're $950 away.

Andile lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Johannesburg Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $950.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Andile could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $950 goes:
• braille note-taker: $730
• Fitting and training sessions: $100
• Delivery and set-up: $35
• First-year servicing plan: $85
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
