A braille note-taker for Aarti: help me move freely
Aarti needs a braille note-taker that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,000.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Nagpur Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,000.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
