I coordinate donations at Liberty Women's Shelter in Rome. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Rome, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Liberty Women's Shelter on Saturday between 11am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Liberty Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
