I coordinate donations at the Union Primary School in Seattle. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Seattle, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Union Primary School on Monday between 11am and 3pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Union Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • Sending good thoughts. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless

    • Hope things get better soon, Eli. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.

      • Hope it all works out, Eli. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings

        • So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Alicante!
