I coordinate donations at the Unity Primary School in Corpus Christi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Corpus Christi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Primary School on Friday between 10am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Glad we found this place.

thanks for sharing this, Lorenzo. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best
Wishing you peace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out.
