67 pairs of children's shoes for Cedar Refugee Centre
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Cedar Refugee Centre.

I coordinate donations at Cedar Refugee Centre in La Plata. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in La Plata, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Refugee Centre on Sunday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

You're not alone, Luis. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of La Plata.
Thinking of you and your family, Luis. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Phoenix
Hope things get better soon. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
keep going, Luis. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
sending good thoughts, Luis. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings
Take care, Luis. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Syracuse.
Thinking of you, Luis. Looking forward to the next update. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
