I coordinate donations at the Lotus Primary School in Lagos. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Lagos, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Primary School on Monday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Glad we found this place.

Rooting for you, Fatima. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best
Praying for you, Fatima. Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Abbottabad.
Keep going, Fatima. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Campinas so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Lagos.
