I coordinate donations at Pioneer Women's Shelter in Niter贸i. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Niter贸i, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Pioneer Women's Shelter on Friday between 10am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Pioneer Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Niter贸i.
Sending good thoughts. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Corpus Christi so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Good luck, Fernanda. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
you're not alone, Fernanda. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
