43 pairs of children's shoes for Unity Women's Shelter
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Unity Women's Shelter.

I coordinate donations at Unity Women's Shelter in New York. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in New York, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Unity Women's Shelter on Monday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Unity Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thanks for sharing this. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Thinking of New York.
Sending good thoughts, Beau. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
